SIASIA VS NIGERIANS....

We set out just on time to beat the traffic in Abuja....yeah traffic..we do have terrible traffic now..
With our minds set straight to the Abuja national stadium..hoping for just a win.....
my friend and i, had plan to invade the national stadium with all our energy...
screaming and chanting in support for the Super Eagles...little did we know that the gracious day
had a lot in stock for us.... to start with...mad traffic as we approach the entrance of the national stadium..
crowd pulling back and forth..not knowing which gate to follow....
we decided to stand and see where the crowd will shift its base too..that in mind...
i settled for few shots...catching the security on guard...very tight security....checking all incoming vehicles
and suspicious unveiling events...

Well organized patrol of security forces ...
While standing to take other shots...
we saw the crown shifting again....the loud scream of football lovers gracing the stadium gate...
there we saw supporter rushing towards an open bared wire...
forcing themselves through the tight passage that can barely take a baby..
the scene looked like that of prisoners who are experiencing a jail break..
the rush, the madness, the push.....it looked as if we were watching the famous series(prison break)..
soon the police moved inn... to take control of the open bared wire....
stopping supporters from entering through the little passage....
just few minutes before now, the passage could barely take a baby...right now it is as wild as the kingdom of heaven.
impatience supporters went in for the police sweep...trying to force them off their just found passage to football freedom..funny enough most of them all had the ticket to the game..the police stood their grounds and force them back..the very stubborn ones saw the medium as way to shoe off their rebellion against the properly positioned police men...soon it was time to pick scape goats....
guy in the middle has a ticket
once he was been escorted to the police van...he screamed for freedom..
and i quote.....i leave my market come watch ball so na arrest go end am?...
At the pity of this innocent supporter...other supporters couldn't turn their back to watch him been taken away....they rally round him....just like the love they had for the Super Eagles that brought them all out..

His plea dint set him free...he went on causing a scene for his freedom...all for the Super Eagles..
enough of those...soon we got in, bought the famous vuvu zla..blowing our jaws out like we was the late FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI...stopped to get some drinks to quench our thirst...to our deepest amusement, we found out that the prices of all items had doubled due to the rush to purchase them....damn we had no choice...
Immediately after buying our drinks, we witnessed another police check point..
Our final passage to where we all will be chanting from...
right after that, the peach looks green.....supporters filled the seats like civilization in a flash..

both National Anthem came up..with Nigeria singing the second stanza of her National Anthem..
Action began.....fans excepting nothing but a win..

The fans showing so much support....blowing their horns to push them to glory..
Few minutes into the second half..The stadium went silent.... The visitors found the back of our net..
Immediately they passed the ball and got a goal attempt..the support was back..
Many looking up into the sky..praying for a miracle...
Soon it came...NSOFOR putting us back into the game..
AHMED MUSA and UCHE brought in the much need change....
The second goal brought out the best in the supporters....Many pulling their shirts to wave as flags..
Warm embraces went on like the Mexican waves....
little did we know that the visitors dint come to Nigeria smiling....
last minute into xtra time..the equalizer came....

All the supporters lost their will to support, the players fell to their kneels in disappointment....
The GIANT of Africa will not be going to the nations cup....
Just like the 1993 elections..supporters went rampage, screaming one name SIASIA...you have killed us..
it was all over...the hope, dreams and aspiration of lifting the nations cup was over...
Before the final whistle, the stadium was almost empty..
The supporters moving out in groups discussing and cursing the super eagles and the coaching crew..let SIASIA go..was the new found slogan..

#why will he bench uche at all...before bringing him in?..
#is SIASIA now collecting bribe?..
#why did he play EMENIKE for 90mins?..
#why did he substitute OBASI?..
#why did he leave MUSA on the bench for so long?..
#why dint he use ENYAMA?..
#why does OSAZE let us down when we need him the most?....
#why substitute JOEL OBI?...
#why cant we rest our believe in MIKEL to be productive in the mid field?..
#why this..why that.... and the complain goes on and on?....
....... what do you think should happen?....
SACK SIASIA OR CALL UP THE FRESH PLAYERS INTO THE SQUAD?

HOW SECURITY VOTES LANDED AKALA,GOJE,DANIELS,DOMA IN TROUBLE
There were strong indications on Saturday that former governors of Ogun, Oyo and Nasarawa and Gombe States, Messrs Gbenga Daniel, Adebayo Alao-Akala and Aliyu Akwe-Doma and Danjuma Goje respectively, might have landed in trouble as a result of how they used their security votes while in office.

The first three have been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission since last Thursday, while Goje has been declared wanted by the commission.

All of them have been alleged to have siphoned public funds with which they acquired properties in Nigeria and abroad.

A top official of the commission claimed that Goje allegedly “collected a staggering N15bn as security votes during his eight-year tenure even when there was no serious security challenge in his state.”

The source added that the trio ex-governors in the EFCC custody also abused their expenditure of security votes.

This disclosure came even as the commission has prepared over 60 charges against the three former state chief executives in its custody, preparatory to their arraignment in court on Monday...#PUNCH

DECLINING INTEREST IN EDUCATION WORRIES GOVERNORS
Governors of the South-South states have expressed concern over the lack of interest in education among youths in the region.

The governors, therefore, concluded plans to organise an educational summit as part of their contribution to solving the problem.

The governors, working in partnership with the BRACED commission, an agency set up for the socio-economic transformation of the states, said the summit was urgent.
The document was read by the Chairman of the South-South Governors’ Forum, Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross Rivers State at the end of the forum’s meeting.

“We expressed deep concern at the state of education in our zone and the need to reverse the trend by building the required human capital for sustainable development,” the communique read.

The BRACED, an acronym that captures the six states of Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers, Edo and Delta state under a commission headed by Ambassador Joe Keshi was set up to address the developmental challenges confronting the states in the region...#PUNCH
